Whose turn is it?

You never have to wonder whether the game is waiting on you. The board says so in several ways at once — and the same cues tell you how everyone else is getting on. Here is what to look for.

1. The board tells you whose turn it is in several ways at once.

2. The “PLAYING” badge sits on whoever is taking their turn right now.

3. When it is you, your own column is outlined and the board says “Your turn!”.

4. Each header counts that player’s remaining tiles — watch for someone nearing zero.

5. Beside it, their score so far. In Mexican Train, low is good.

6. Nothing needs refreshing — every column updates as people play.
