Questions people ask
Is it really free? How is it paid for?
Yes, it’s really free. There’s no trial, no subscription and nothing to buy. The site is paid for by players who choose to chip in with a donation, and everything works the same whether you donate or not.
Does it work on my iPad?
Yes. Open it in Safari on your iPad and play, with nothing to download. It works the same way on phones and on computers.
Do I need other people to play?
No. You can play against the computer any time, with one to five computer players. When you’d like to play with family or friends, you get a short code to send them.
Are these the rules I know?
Yes. It’s classic Mexican Train with a double-12 set, starting from the double 12 and counting down. Every table has its own house rules, so before a game you can choose how doubles and drawing work.
Hi, I’m Corey. I built MexicanTrain.Online in 2020, and I still run it myself. The whole thing is one person from New Hampshire 🙂 If something breaks or you have a question, you’ll be emailing me directly.
