How to invite players
Once you have made a game, you need people in it. Every game comes with a six-letter code and an invite link — send either one, however you like. You can add more players later, too, right up to eight.
1. A new game starts on Step 1, where you invite people.
2. Every game gets a six-letter code. Send it and they type it in.
3. The copy button puts it on your clipboard, ready to paste.
4. Or copy the invite link instead — it takes them straight to the game.
5. A game holds up to eight players, so you can invite seven.
6. You can invite more people later with “Invite Players” on the game card.
7. Send the code or the link however you like — text, email, group chat.
Which one to send
They do the same job, so send whichever suits the conversation:
- The invite link takes them straight to the game. Best in a message you can paste into — a text, a WhatsApp thread, an email.
- The six-letter code is short enough to read down the phone or write on a note. They enter it under Join Game.
Either way, nobody has to install anything, and an invitation you send does not expire — send it now and let them get to it this evening.
When somebody invites you
The other half of the same thing, so it is worth knowing what your own side looks like. When somebody invites you to a game, the invitation waits at the top of your games list under Pending Invites. It sits there until you do something about it.
- Accept and the game moves down into your games list with everything else, and you can take your turn whenever you like.
- Decline and it disappears from your list. The person who invited you can send it again if it was a mistake.
- Leave it and nothing happens. An invitation you have not answered stays exactly where it is until you deal with it.
